- Working under the ‘brand’ D|CIDE, BASE 23 produces graphics, paintings, illustrations, graffiti, and t-shirts in small editions. He lives and works in Berlin and has exhibited in Barcelona, London, Melbourne, Paris, Berlin and other German cities. BASE 23 started with graffiti in 1989 and went on to study, majoring in graphic design / typography. While studying he worked for several magazines and design studios. At this time he won international and national awards. He also spent 4 months working at CommunionW in Hong Kong as a freelance designer and illustrator. In his spare time he designed a lot of flyers, posters and t-shirts for clubs and other subculture scenes.
